The alliance has delineated three pivotal pillars that will define its anticipated outcomes, and we are committed to honing our focus on these key areas.

Curriculum Development

The alliance is committed to integrating sustainability topics into business education curricula, ensuring that future leaders are equipped with the knowledge and skills to balance profitability with positive environmental and social impact. To achieve this, the alliance will collaborate with education experts and stakeholders from diverse sectors, including industry, government, and semi-government entities. Recognizing the growing demand for green jobs, we aim to prepare graduates for opportunities in the emerging green job market. In addition, we may explore the possibility of implementing an exchange program among alliance members to foster cross-pollination of sustainability subjects and experiences.

Research Consortium

The alliance will establish a robust research consortium that brings together researchers, experts, scientists, and policymakers from the MENA region. This consortium will facilitate collaboration on various aspects of sustainability and climate change research. By fostering knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary cooperation, we can address urgent environmental challenges effectively. It is worth noting that all research outputs generated through the alliance will be made accessible as open-access resources, eliminating potential conflicts regarding intellectual property rights.

Awareness, Partnership, and Networking

The alliance recognizes the importance of raising awareness and advocating for sustainability among all stakeholders. To accomplish this, the alliance plans to organize engaging events, including seminars, workshops, dialogues, competitions, and exhibitions throughout the MENA region. These activities will be supported by like-minded academic and supporting partners willing to share their knowledge and expertise with alliance members. Through these collaborative endeavors, we aim to make the events accessible to the public via the alliance platform. Ultimately, our objective is to promote environmental leadership behavior and contribute to informed public policymaking in the realms of climate change and sustainability within the MENA region.
